The affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss has become one of the most haunting scandals in reality TV history.
Since news of the Scandoval broke in March, Vanderpump Rules fans have been eagerly awaiting reunion episodes of the series.
And if you were hoping to see Tom get raked for his misdeeds, then you probably weren’t disappointed.
Sandoval has basically been a piñata in this scene, and his buddy Tom Schwartz is pretty much the only one who refrained from giving him a few smacks to see what’s inside.
Unfortunately, if you were hoping to see Raquel get similarly roasted, you might be feeling a bit disappointed at this point.
Due to his restraining order against Scheana Shay, Leviss watched the first two installments from a trailer parked 100 feet from the studio.
She didn’t take the stage until the end of Wednesday night’s episode, but Tom kept her up to date during a lunch break visit to his outpost – and things heated up when ‘a VPR producer had to remind the couple that they were there to film a TV show, and therefore were not allowed to tell the film crew to leave.
“I got emotional right off the bat and James was exactly what I knew he would be. … He’s just, like, out of control,” Sandoval told Raquel when visiting his trailer.
“Scheana is completely creeping with Katie because she wants to be back in the band. Lala, who literally doesn’t give a fuck about the two of us, calls me a narcissist. And they make both of us pathological liars.
Sandoval clearly viewed Raquel’s trailer as his personal safe space, but he encountered more criticism inside, when Leviss noted that he might not have been entirely honest with her about the dissolution of his relationship with Ariana Madix.
“Obviously, I only know what you’re telling me, but just, like, looking at what you’ve been recording right now, it sounds like you had this solid relationship,” Raquel said.
“I feel like she felt like you wanted to continue the relationship because you never broke up with her.”
“Perhaps we should have [been honest about our affair] earlier,” Sandoval replied, to which Raquel replied, “You think?
At that point, Tom announced to the production team that he would like to speak with Raquel privately – which would defeat the purpose of shooting a reunion special.
“I’m done filming, I need a break. I need a break from filming,” Sandoval fumed at the camera crew.
“I want to speak to [Raquel] without a damn camera in my face. You do not understand.
When a producer stepped in and calmly explained to Tom how reality TV works, Sandoval claimed he was in a “very awkward position right now.”
“I don’t feel relaxed, neither does she. We have to be careful what we say. Like, I don’t want this, he shouted as he paced the parking lot.
The producer then pointed out that the rest of the cast were also filmed during their lunch break.
Tom didn’t like that explanation, but there wasn’t much he could say in response.
The guy was probably expecting a little more professionalism from Sandoval – who’s made a living as a reality TV star for a full decade at this point.
But as he’s proven time and time again this season, Tom’s greatest talent is disappointing people who thought they knew him.
And just when we thought this dude couldn’t hurt his own reputation anymore, he went freaking out with one of the producers who made him famous.
