‘Many Monsters One King’
Skull Island is a 2023 American animated series and the latest chapter in Legendary Entertainment’s Monsterverse franchise.
The series was created by writer/producer Brian Duffield (director Spontaneousand a screenwriter on Jane has a gun; The babysitter; Submarine And love and monsters). Executive produced by Brad Graeber, Jen Chambers, Brian Duffield, Jacob Robinson and Thomas Tull.
The Legendary Entertainment production uses animation from Powerhouse Animation Studios and Tractor Pants.
The plot follows castaway characters desperate to survive the most dangerous place on Earth, the island home to colossal monsters, including the iconic “megaprimatus” Kong.
THE Skull Island will be available to stream on Netflix worldwide from June 22, 2023.

Even with the stellar cast, the fuzzy writing and visual choices strain the goodwill of fans.

Using teenagers as central characters helps give them a Entry into this world usually explored by adults.
