Today we are sharing the supposed voice cast for X-Men ’97 as well as the publish window. This information is not official, but as you will see below, it seems legitimate. As you may or may not know, X-Men ’97 is a continuation of X-Men: TASthe popular 90s cartoon. We knew some of the original voices were returning, but there would be changes as well.
This latest report from covered geek had the voice cast, release window, and a short description. This short description was debunked by none other than editor Beau DeMayo. Yet they never mentioned anything about the voice broadcast or the details of the release window. In other words, we think this is solid information.
Let’s start with the publish window. As you know it X-Men ’97 has been delayed alongside so many other Marvel projects and there will be more to come. However, we might have a possible date, or at least a window for when we see X-Men ’97.
The pre-registration listing on the US Copyright Office site also included the scheduled release date for Episode 1 of the series, given as January 3, 2024.
The series was previously scheduled to release in fall 2023, which is now occupied by Loki Season 2 and Echo.

Moving on to voice distribution, here’s what the outlet is reporting.
The series cast includes Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Christopher Britton as Mr. Sinister, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Matthew Waterson as Magneto, and Gui Agustini as Roberto da Costa, aka Sunspot.
Familiar names, mixed with a few new ones, as we knew, would arrive after so long.
I loved this cartoon when it first aired in the 90s. However, I’m not sure it held up as well as I remembered watching it now on Disney+. However, a big part of that is that the old quality wasn’t great to begin with. With Disney funding this sequel, let’s hope it looks good too.
Either way, I’ll definitely be watching the show when it hits Disney+, hopefully in early 2024 it seems.
What do you think of the supposed voice cast for X-Men ’97 as well as the publication window? Thoughts below as always.
