According to a regular Lucasfilm insider, there’s no sign of a Boba Fett book Season 2. However, the character may return in The Mandalorian Season 4. This is the last one Buzz at the bar people from do star wars. In the linked video MSW said they were investigating the alleged delay of Order Season 4.
However, they also referenced previous leaks they posted where they claimed that Boba Fett’s ship was being set up for production. At the time, the leak site did not know if this was an unexpected event. Boba Fett book Season 2, or just the character who returns in Mando S4? The site is now convinced that it is the latter. “I had touched base with sources [regarding the November rumour] and they hadn’t answered me, but when they did, I decided that asking was a bad idea. So I just asked them what’s going on and that’s a whole lot of nothing, basically that’s what’s going on. But I had more success on the Boba Fett thing. So I think Boba Fett is in for Order four and i don’t think there’s another show, and no one knows what other codenames have been around – specifically ghost track 17, but i think that was just a placeholder for something that was going to happen but didn’t make it happen and they just keep it around in case something else happens and they’ll take that name.

In other words, if there is a Boba Fett Season 2, nobody seems to know anything about it. It seems much more likely that Fett will reappear in the already written The Mandalorian Season 4. Does this mean we will never get a second season of Boba Fett? I have no idea, but I will say this. If Lucasfilm brings back Boba Fett book, they seriously need to redefine the tone of the series. A Show About Boba Fett Shouldn’t Be the Most Kid-Centric Live-Action star wars show and yet it currently is.
Maybe it’s best for Fett to play more of a substantive role in Order rather for now? However, if I was responsible, I would definitely do more Fett. I would just take all the negative feedback on board and make the show a bit grittier and more mature.
Of course, since Order Season 4 is not yet filmed, it must be said how accurate it all is right now. It remains to be seen when Order movies and if Boba Fett is coming back after all. Always take these early rumors with a grain of salt. Sometimes the sources themselves don’t know all the details I’ve found at this point. Things can and do change in this business.
