When jurassic park first came out in 1993, nobody knew it would be such a big franchise. After 30 years of giving us great cinematic memories, Ariana Richardswho played Lex Murphy, recreated an epic scene from the first movie that was even commemorated in an artwork she painted herself.

After Jurassic World: Dominion released in June of last year, its box office gross of over $1 billion worldwide was assurance that the franchise had even more gas in the tank. How could this go wrong with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard joining Jurassic veterans Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum?

With the original’s birthday coming up on June 11, the jurassic world The TikTok channel challenged fans to recreate the iconic scene where Richards’ Lex sees a dinosaur for the first time. Imagine flying halfway around the world to land on an island where humans have decided to play creator and bring back the dinosaurs. Then imagine seeing one in real life as it gets close, breathes, and eats whatever it can find to eat. Now put a spoonful of Jell-O in the hands of a little girl and imagine how this scene is supposed to play out.

Richards was launched into stardom after playing this role. She then played the role of Melissa Lefevre in AngusSarah Stewart in The Stallion Princessand Donna Voorhees in dog fight. However, not before reprising his role as Lex for a brief appearance in 1997 The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Richards eventually left acting to pursue an artistic career with her latest film, dog fight premiered in 2013. In fact, she gifted Steven Spielberg with one of her first paintings which he proudly displayed on his office wall. Another of her works is this very scene where she shivers seeing a dinosaur with a dollop of Jell-O, which she shared on her Twitter account in 2018.

In an interview with KATU News, she recalled Steven Spielberg coming up to her and asking, “Ariana, you’ve come to such a point of utter terror. We see it written all over your face. How do you get to this level of fear? Were you afraid of a clown when you were two years old? Then just like that, he backed off and said he didn’t want to know.

With the jurassic park The TikTok channel issued the challenge, Ariana said: ‘Challenge accepted’ – she pulled out a spoon, a cube of Jell-O and recreated her scene from 30 years ago. After all, who was going to recreate the scene better than her?

She could probably start acting again at any time and maybe even join the cast of jurassic park when they make 10 or 11 straights, whatever number they want to make. And let’s be honest, his reenactment blew the 29% Rotten Tomatoes Jurassic World Dominion out of water. For now, though, she’s enjoying her artistry and her title as queen of the iconic Jell-O shake.
