‘Defying the Odds’
Stone heart is a 2023 action crime thriller about a spy who works for M16 but is undercover for a secret peacekeeping organization.
Directed by Tom Harper (Aeronauts; wild rose; The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death; book of war; The Book of Scouting for Boys) from a screenplay written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder (hidden numbers; Christopher Robin). Produced by Bhaumik Gondaliya, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Gal Gadot and Jaron Varsano.
The film stars Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Alia Bhatt Matthias Schweighöfer, Sophie Okonedo, Jing Lusi, Paul Ready, Archie Madekwe, Helga Kristín Helgadóttir and Jónas Alfred Birkisson.
Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) appears to be an inexperienced technician in an elite MI6 unit led by Agent Parker (Jamie Dornan). What his MI6 team doesn’t know is that Stone actually works for the Charter – a secret peacekeeping organization, secret even from other spies, that uses advanced technology to neutralize global threats.
Rachel was trained to be a consummate professional: a phenomenal field agent who sticks to the mission, follows the numbers, and trusts no one. When her next routine mission is derailed by mysterious hacker Keya (Alia Bhatt), Rachel’s two lives collide. As she races to protect the Charter and strives to outsmart the odds, her humanity and heart may just be her greatest asset…
Stone heart will premiere on Netflix worldwide on August 11, 2023.
