This is by far the most faithful to the movie version of the Gates to be released as a collectible designed to pair with the official action figures. Sure, several statues and high-end products have recreated this iconic piece perfectly, but this is the first time it’s been properly made for toys and Mattel says it’s “precisely sculpted down to every crack and crevasse”. Aside from the 20-inch height on the doors, they’re motorized to open on their own, like they do in the movie, and the torches light up and flash. They will also play original theme music from the movie and ambient jungle sounds.

The doors will also feature the unscathed No. 5 Ford Explorer, complete with rubber tires and upgraded design details such as accurate hangtags, navigation screen and antennae.
To be produced, Mattel needs 5,000 backers to commit $250, and only after that number can international backers be able to join the project. That’s a lot of dino-bucks for what amounts to the toy version of the Stylized Doors, but if enough people support it, there are some pretty cool bonuses you’ll only be able to get with this collectible package.
