Being behind bars doesn’t stop Young Thug from dropping some unheard of for his fans. The “My Wrist” rapper is teaming up with producer extraordinaire Metro Boomin for an upcoming release.
The two musicians’ official Twitter pages served as a provider of exciting news by uploading a QR code with the caption “Business Is Business”. Once scanned, users are redirected to a singular webpage that leads to a website with a countdown set for June 22 at midnight ET.
While it’s unclear whether the collaboration will be an entire project or a single single, Young Thug fans have shared their gratitude ahead of time. Apart from his appearance in Yeat’s “My Wrist” and Philmom Lee’s “Baby Don’t Cry”, artist camp has not released any music from the rap star as the focus has been on his legal Affairs. Metro Boomin keeps the secret close to his chest, writing only “Wait for it”, on Twitter as fans ask him what to expect.
The release is expected to arrive shortly after former associate Gunna’s new album, A gift and a cursewhich was released earlier today.
