The 90s rapper has been summoned to court by a longtime ex-girlfriend who wants him to take a DNA test and be ordered to pay child support for his 5-year-old daughter. The mom, Kirra Hentz, asked the court to establish Vanilla Ice as the father of the baby girl named Priscilla.
According Speed cameras online, who got the court papers, Kirra wants to set up a custody agreement and get child support. The publication noticed an exciting thing when it filed the documents; she used the home improvement specialist’s last name as her own.
Is Vanilla Ice married?
The “Ice Ice Baby” rapper’s real name is Robert Van Winkle, and it looks like Kirra also goes by Van Winkle. The situation seems complicated. This does not mean that the two are married, but generally sharing a surname with someone who is not your blood family indicates marriage.
Kirra’s petition stated that they lived in Florida but currently occupied separate homes. She also confirmed that they weren’t married in 2018 when the baby girl was conceived.
The petition says: “The parties engaged in a sexual relationship resulting in the potential conception and gestation of the minor child…. [Vanilla Ice] may be the biological father of the minor child, and genetic testing should be ordered to confirm.

Kirra is willing to allow Van Winkle to see their daughter if she is his, but she wants primary custody of the child. The petition asks the courts to order Van Winkle to take the DNA test and pay Kirra’s legal fees.
The one-hit wonder settled his divorce from wife of nearly 20 years, Laura, in 2019 before the pandemic hit. Laura was the one who filed for divorce from Vanilla Ice. They share two children but were adults when the relationship ended.
Laura listed 2016 as their time apart, but admitted she and the former rapper had been apart for a while before that. Fortunately, Kirra didn’t overlap if the dates were correct.
Vanilla Ice’s last relationship struggled
The entrepreneur apparently wasn’t the most amazing husband to his ex-wife Laura. There were reports that he was physical with Laura. Specifically, he allegedly pushed her during an argument. After the incident, he was arrested for domestic violence, but the charges were later dropped.
Laura went back on her declaration and continued her life with Vanilla Ice and their two children. It was in 2008; she stayed for eight years before legally separating from him and eventually filing for divorce.
The former rapper hasn’t spoken publicly about the issue; no stamens were released. There’s no doubt that he and Kirra had a thing because he shared several photos of her and a baby girl on Instagram.
