‘Temptation Island’ has its first engaged couple this season – Hall and Kaitlin.
But will they leave committed and ready to say “yes,” or will they leave alone or with someone else? It seems there is a possible rift between the two and her name is Makayla.
Will Hall and Kaitlin leave the island ready to wed or start a new chapter?
Red flags are already flying high with this couple.
Early in this experience, Hall said he feared Kaitlin would find a better partner in their quest to realize they only wanted each other. He hoped to have the assurance that he was the right person for him because he was ready to get married and start a family.
Kaitlin assured him that she wanted to marry him, and she fears the possibility of losing him again before they have to say goodbye and head to their own villas.
But now… looks like it’s Hall who has the doubts thanks to one single in particular on the island – Makayla.
One of Makayla’s great assets to Hall is the fact that she is ready to get married and have children. He’s made no secret that he’s ready for family life, but Kaitlin isn’t ready for kids, saying she might be in a few years.
The history of Kaitlin and Hall’s rollercoaster relationship includes a breakup and then a reunion. They were together for eight years, but after the first three years Hall broke up with her and they were separated for over a year. The truth about the breakup came to light early in the season when Hall revealed that he broke up with Kaitlin because he wanted to date other women. She seemed quite shocked to hear that after all this time, saying, “That’s interesting to hear.”
Now that they’re engaged, Hall is ready to move on, but Kaitlin explained that she didn’t take any steps to plan her wedding. “I’m kind of happy to be engaged,” she said. “It’s not that I don’t want to marry Hall, I just don’t know.”

It seems like she and Hall really do have a connection and it’s only accelerating as each episode unfolds. Hall even admitted that Makayla turned things around a bit for him by explaining that he thought Kaitlin was the love of his life, but now that he’s met Makayla, “it’s hard.”
Makayla said her wall is up with Hall only because he’s engaged, but will that change as they continue to grow closer and strengthen their connection?
Hall even opened up to the other guys about his dilemma and the doubts that are forming.
“I’ve always been so desperate to find a woman who wants to start a family. Kaitlin isn’t around,” he said. “I don’t see the light in her eyes when I talk about the kids and the family. She always sounded like, ‘I’m going to have a family because you want to have a family.'”
But Makayla, she has that light in her eyes when she talks about starting a family. Will Makayla end up being that light at the end of the tunnel he’s been looking for, and enough for him to break off his engagement with Kaitlin to start a new chapter with her?
