Newlyweds Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are just steps away from living in their dream home!
As the romantic duo tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, they’re ready for more fairytale experiences as their dream home is in the works. The couple acquired the property before their wedding in preparation for their happy future together.
A few months after the acquisition, the Olympic medalist takes stock of the property, showing that his dreams are getting closer.

In her usual way of keeping fans updated, the famous gymnast posted stories on Instagram to share the progress of his house. His footage showed the extensive land being built and significant changes were spotted.
Part of the land was segmented and filled with concrete, forming a platform. Although it’s hazy, some workmen have been spotted on the structure, helping to even out the mix. Construction materials including rocks and a truck with a crane attached were also spotted on the ground.
Captioning the video, the Olympic medalist announced what stage the house was at. She wrote, “The foundation has been sunk,” before tagging her husband in the post.
The advance on the property is noticeable compared to when the duo just acquired it. When Biles announced they had secured the property, she uploaded three photos of her and her husband posing on the lot. In one of the photos, several trees have been felled, revealing an empty part of the serene area, which was still surrounded by tall trees. From this photo, it was clear that there was little development on the ground.
More details about the property were noticeable on closer inspection. A house was visible on the other side of the body of water. Another clap on the carousel showed the excavated space of the property. Unearthed roots were visibly piled to one side while other trees stood upright.
Unsurprisingly, the duo couldn’t hold hands as they posed on their new property. In one of the images, the handsome football star was cuddling his wife and gently kissing her earlobe. The post was captioned: “A home is made of love and dreams. Cheers for innovating.
Naturally, fans warmly welcomed the great news and flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Owens led the comments, writing, “So excited!!!!” and added a red heart emoji.

As the newlyweds get closer to living in their dream home, they’ve already started hitting some big milestones. Last month, the couple celebrated a month since they got married. Biles, who was over the moon, marked the milestone with never-before-seen photos from their Cabo weddings.
The breathtaking photo showed Biles and her man in each other’s arms, posing in the serene and beautiful scenery. The 25-year-old gymnast looked stunning in a white wedding dress with a flowing train.
The NFL star matched his wife’s look with a beige suit and brown shoes. The background of the image, consisting of high pristine white walls, a neutral backdrop and a leafless tree, enhanced the beauty of the snapshot.

The couple’s nuptials in Cabo made headlines in May when Biles shared some moments from the ceremony. Two photos from her update showed the soul mates kissing intimately. The next slide showed the bride walking down the aisle alongside her adoptive father, Ronald.
