The newly married athletes – Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens – are still making memories after getting married in April.
In three years, the artistic gymnast and NFL star went from meeting on a dating app named Raya in March 2020 to getting engaged in 2022 and later taking vows twice last month. Looking closely at this romantic passage, the lovers were so engrossed in each other.
Therefore, it was no surprise that the couple were in “vacation mode” during their Memorial Day stint. The Olympian shared little snippets of their romantic getaway on social media, from luxury boat rides and a picture-perfect sunset to sightings of her beau’s impressive physique.
American gymnast Simone Biles Packs on PDA with husband Jonathan Owens

On Monday, the 26-year-old Texan uploaded a three-image post to Instagram from the couple’s Memorial Day “staycation” in Wisconsin. In the first photo, the two kiss on what appears to be a speedboat. The newlyweds seemed lost in each other’s worlds and couldn’t hold hands with each other.
The former Arizona Cardinals player flaunted his bare upper body and adorned his hands with a wristwatch, diamond rings and hand chains. Meanwhile, his wife, sitting on his thigh facing him, wore denim shorts and a brown and white striped bra top with a black bucket hat and ankle socks.
The star gymnast affectionately placed her arms around her husband’s neck while Owens placed his arms around his wife’s lithe waist as she admired the view. JThe next photo showed the boat dock and a beautiful sunset, while the third photo of Biles revealed his handsome man dressed in a black and white fishnet shirt and black shorts above the knee.
His outfit complimented the dark-framed parasol he was carrying. The 2015 Team USA Female Olympian of the Year winner wrote the caption, “postcard from gate county,” and tagged Owens in the post.
Her followers flocked to the comments section to gloat over the happy couple. “Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!” one person wrote. Another chimed in and said, “Yeah!! I love that you experience all the beauty [W]isconsin offers!!”
The trip to Wisconsin follows their second honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they also honeymooned. As the married couple continued to soak up the final moments of their honeymoon vacation, they were quick to give fans a taste of it with some steamy footage.

The passionate wife took to her Instagram page to share a striking image of herself and her handsome groom in matching Fendi Reversible Fendi ‘FF’ swimsuits. Biles’ one-piece ensemble flaunted her toned and sculpted figure. She teamed her swimsuit with a nude Fendi bucket hat and a gold necklace.
The Houston Texans Safety, meanwhile, looked ripped in Fendi men’s shorts with his other accessories – a black cap, silver necklace, brown slides and a pair of sunglasses.
The lovebirds looked into each other’s eyes and settled inside their well-decorated cabana complete with throw pillows, a smart TV and an unusual chandelier. Tagging her hubby in her post, Biles wrote in her caption, “Married girl summer 🤎.”
Simone Biles Owens sent her husband back to his new NFL gig with swollen eyes
The vacation in Wisconsin was a well-deserved break and quality time for Biles and Owens, as the solid football safety recently signed with the Green Bay Packers in the same state.

However, the 27-year-old NFL star’s move cut short the couple’s honeymoon. Although his wife was happy for him, feelings were mixed. She sent him away with teary eyes. The feelings of the new Ms. Owens differed from her initial reaction to the signing of the St. Louis native.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom winner shared a snap of herself posing with a joyless expression inside a car. In the sad photo, the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame inductee’s eyes were visibly swollen while her hair was messy.
Expressing why she looked sad, the Ohio native wrote on the post that she needed to say goodbye to her husband. “I bawled my eyes out this morning when Jonathan left for Green Bay,” the Laureus World Sports Award winner confessed, adding that she was “a mess.”
