Sandoval has ‘Pump Rules’ reunion meltdown trying to be alone with Raquel

Above! Tom Sandoval lost patience during part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules meeting – and sought solace in Rachel Leviss during a break in filming.

“I got emotional right from the start and james [Kennedy] was exactly as I knew it would be. … He’s just, like, out of control,” Sandoval, 40, told Raquel, 28, during the Wednesday, May 31, episode. “Scheana [Shay] is completely creeping out Katie [Maloney] because she wants to be back in the band. Lala [Kent]who literally doesn’t give a fuck about the two of us, [is] calling me a narcissist. And they make both of us pathological liars.

Raquel – who watched parts 1 and 2 of the reunion special from its trailer due to her restraining order filed against Scheana, 38 – echoed Sandoval’s take on the events, saying: “Yeah, I see that, even though we’re not. And we didn’t lie about anything other than the case.

The former beauty queen went on to delve into her own questions about the conversations going on during filming, sharing that she ‘didn’t like’ how the TomTom co-founder’s relationship and ‘intimacy’ with her ex Ariana Madix was portrayed.

“Obviously, I only know what you’re telling me, but just, like, looking at what you’ve been recording right now, it sounds like you had this solid relationship,” she said. “I feel like she felt like you wanted to continue the relationship because you never broke up with her.”

Sandoval, for his part, agreed. “Perhaps we should have [been honest about our affair] sooner,” he suggested, to which Raquel replied, “You think?

The California native noted that “her whole character is now in question” because of the cheating scandal. “I’ve been through a transitional phase in my life and I think the pendulum has swung a bit too far,” she said, adding that the past few months have been a “wake-up call” for her.

Sandoval, meanwhile, admitted it had all been “difficult” before warning her that Ariana would “go wild” on her once she took the stage.

“I’m glad you came,” he added.

While the musician appeared to calm down after his conversation with the former pageant queen, he became more upset after he left his trailer and the cameras continued to follow him. “I’m done filming, I need a break. I need a break from filming,” he said. “I want to talk to [Raquel] without a damn camera in my face. You do not understand.

When a Pump Rules the producer tried to explain that the cameras had to be rolling because the pair were discussing the events of the show, Sandoval pushed back harder, saying he was in a “very awkward position right now”.

“I don’t feel relaxed, neither does she. We have to be careful what we say. Like, I don’t want this,” he yelled before the producer told him to “get a beat.”

Part 3 of the special, which airs Wednesday, June 3, will dive deeper into the cheating scandal as Raquel takes the stage alongside her castmates. The reunion was filmed at the end of March – just weeks after We Weekly confirmed Ariana, 37, broke up with Sandoval after learning of his infidelity.

As season 10 of the hit reality series had wrapped filming by the time news of the months-long affair broke, cameras resumed to follow the aftermath – leading to an explosive and emotional finale in which viewers watched the fallout.

Raquel and Sandoval have subsequently faced intense public backlash since March, with Raquel checking into a mental health facility in April. A representative for the reality TV star also confirmed that he We on Friday, May 26, that she and her family “have been the target of violent and graphic death threats both online and over the phone.”

The Schwartz & Sandy co-owner, meanwhile, spoke candidly about dealing with the fallout during an episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast last month.

“I never felt the fight or the flight [like I did] with this situation,” Sandoval told host Mandel, 67, recalling the immediate period after news of the affair broke. “I was literally on the run like I was wanted for a triple homicide. I didn’t shower for days. I was in the same clothes for days. I didn’t have my meds. … It sometimes turned me into a total a-hole.
