Ryan Seacrest could possibly replace Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune.

Shortly after breaking the news of Sajak’s departure, Bloomberg reported that Seacrest, 48, is in talks to take over. “Some sources say he’s the frontrunner. Others say he’s just one of many interested,” the Bloomberg reporter said. Lucas Shaw tweeted on Monday, June 12.

After more than 40 years of Wheel of Fortune, Sajak, 76, has confirmed his intention to leave the NBC series. “Well, now is the time,” the Chicago native said in a statement to Bloomberg News on Monday. “I have decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be our last.
