MrBeast’s Olympics Turns Deadly
The YouTube influencer hosted a new sports competition at his newly acquired land in North Carolina. In true influencer mode, it is equipped with a studio and accommodation so that you can make content on site.
It was reported that on Monday, MrBeast held the Olympic-style challenge on the property. It included competitors from all over the world, and supposedly the incident and resulting injuries took place during a foot race that included hurdles and other obstacles.
Exactly how the accident happened remains a mystery, according to TMZ, who was the first to report the story. The competition would have become too intense, leading to a dangerous situation.
MrBeast’s rep spoke out
The incident could not be ignored, so a representative of MrBeast gives information on what happened and made it, the publication became a TV show. “MrBeast was working on an upcoming video with athletic challenges, and there were three minor medical issues out of almost 200 participants. Medical staff attended to the people immediately and released them shortly after.
Details of the injuries are unknown, but sources said TMZ this filming continued, so it couldn’t be that bad, right? And since filming has continued, the chance to see what happened on the property that day will be on the social media star’s channel.
Meanwhile, Mr. Beast is busy breaking another YouTube record which he currently holds the title.
MrBeast broke a new record
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, recently uploaded a new video with up to 47 million views in 24 hours. It became the second most watched non-music YouTube video during this period.
The video is titled “$1 vs. $1,000,000,000 Yacht”, where he rates a sinking boat worth $1 against various luxury boats and a yacht worth $1 billion. Pete Davidson also made an appearance in the video.
The video was 15 minutes long and showed seven boats in total, all in the $1-300 million price range. The boats featured everything from helipad landings to ones that require hundreds of employees to operate.
MrBeast is trying to branch out
With ownership, the influencer hopes to start showing something different with these contests. His videos mainly introduce the luxury lifestyle, which is attractive for many reasons and has won him many views.
So much so that he’s the most subscribed person on YouTube, with 160 million subscribers, he’s already prepared for this video to take off and likely rack up millions more views for the 25-year-old.
