Maxwell Frost joined Paramore on stage during their DC show, where he had a few words for Ron Desantis

US Representative Maxwell Frost is living his best life. Outside of politics, Frost has been shown to enjoy music. After being elected to Florida’s 10th congressional district in the US midterm elections last November, he celebrated The 1975’s concert in Washington DC, where he received a shoutout from the band’s lead singer , Matty Healy. Last night (June 2), Frost was present at the Paramore concert in DC

The band released Frost as a surprise to the public. While Frost was on stage, lead singer Hayley Williams asked him if he had any special words or messages to share with the audience.

Frost certainly had some words for Florida Governor Ron Desantis. Onstage, Frost immediately shouted, “F*ck Ron DeSantis! Damn fascism!” in response to Williams’ prompt. He then continued, performing “Misery Business” with Paramore.

This special moment has come full circle for Frost, who seems to be a lifelong Paramore fan. He shared a clip of the performance on his Twitter account, noting that “he had been practicing in the shower for YEARS.”

You can check out clips from the concert above.

Paramore is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
