THE Huntsville Love and Marriage The star has been in the news lately for dating Whitfield in what many believe was the worst stunt Whitfield could pull off. But now attention turns to an allegation of alleged abuse.
His ex, Melody Holt, made it clear she wasn’t toying with Martell when she decided to file a restraining order against the father of five. Apparently, this protective order had been in place since January 2022.
They were filed in Alabama and showed Melody seeking protection from Martell and the four minor children she shares with him. Don’t worry, Martell got licked too, he fired back at his ex-wife.
Martell Holt completed his own paperwork
Shortly after Melody filed her accusatory papers, Martell went to the local courthouse and requested sole physical custody and informed the court that Melody had “violated” the clauses set out in a March 2021 final order. .
Shit, he’s had this one in his back pocket for almost six months. He accused her of not allowing him to communicate with the children, this stemmed from an incident when Martell was in Melody’s neighborhood and stopped to say “good night” to the children.
Melody spoke up at the time and reminded him that Martell had in fact pulled over without warning and permission. Martell also took a moment to address the abuse charges.
Martell Holt has denied the abuse

Melody detailed some of the ways her ex-husband disciplined their children, which turned into abuse.
“The defendant used objects to hit his children hard enough to draw blood, he spanked them excessively, and he used name-calling and other insults towards his children as disciplinary techniques.
she continued. “When this Court limited the ability of the parties to use corporal punishment on children pendente lite and ordered the defendant to participate in the therapy and counseling of the children, he attacked this Court in such a way that he was admonished with possible contempt for any future outbursts.
Eventually, an Alabama judge signed off that the couple would continue with shared custody. Not the result Melody had hoped for.
