Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Pink Tape’ Won’t Get a Deluxe Edition, Instead They’ll Release ‘A Brand New Album’

After years of delay, Lil Uzi Vert has finally released his highly anticipated album, pink ribbon. The “Just Wanna Rock” rapper has gotten guests from Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Don Toliver, and more. As fans continue to move through the project, Uzi makes it clear that they’ve washed their hands of the body of work. Instead of following the trend of releasing an extended version of an album, Lil Uzi Vert let his fans know that pink ribbon will not have a deluxe edition.

The artist appeared via audio on Twitch streamer Kani Rose’s show. As fans flooded the live chat, they prompted Rose to ask the musician about their new album. When the player asked Uzi whether or not pink ribbon would have additional iterations, they quickly answered “No”.

However, Uzi clarified that they would be releasing more music, saying, “But I’m going to release a whole ‘other album.’

The album was caught up in controversy ahead of its release when Lil Uzi Vert and their girlfriend JT (of City Girls) were involved in a physical altercation at the 2023 BET Awards.

pink ribbon is now available through Atlantic Records. Find more information here.
