Suppose the show is based on her open book memoir, which touched on her marriage to Nick Lachey, which wasn’t as bubbly and playful as fans may have seen on TV. In the past, Simpson has said she felt trapped in this marriage.
The two evolved into a better relationship and are still married to these two people today. So it worked out for the best, but there’s no doubt that the blonde bombshell has some juicy stories to share.
Seeing that the deal with Amazon fell through, the singer-turned-beauty mogul shops around for her idea. Sources share that Jessica will “be fine” no matter what.
‘Open Book’ was supposed to be a comedy-drama

Amazon shared the connection line when they announced that they had opted for the book for a series.
