Hans Zimmer created more cinematic magic when he offered it to his longtime partner Dina De Luca on stage in London

Hans Zimmer puts so much thought into his music and film scores. But last Thursday night in London, he decided to improvise.

During his performance at London’s 02 Arena, Zimmer orchestrated performances of songs by The black Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dunes, and several other movie songs he scored. Following these performances, he asks his partner Dina De Luca to join him on stage.

When De Luca arrived, Zimmer asked him a series of questions.

“Why did I bring you here?” I was going to ask you something really important,” he said. “Have you locked the back door?” Is the milk in the fridge? Do we have sorbet in the freezer?

He then asked the most important question of all.

” Would you marry me ? he asked.

To this question, De Luca happily agreed, drawing cheers from the audience, according to the Associated press.

After the proposal, Zimmer then shared with the audience that he had time to perform “that little number.” He then performed “Time” by Creation.

In November, the music of Hans Zimmer will mark the score of Dune: part two. Zimmer has already won the Oscar for best original score for the previous episode of Dunes back in 2022.
