Full house! “Octoman” Nadia Sulman has 14 children, and the California native has documented their busy lives via social media.
The former adult film star was already mother to Ameerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Jonah, Joshua and Aidan when she gave birth to octuplets in January 2009 named Nariyah, Isaiah, Maliyah, Jeremiah, Noah, Josiah, Jonah and Makai.
The little ones turned 13 in January 2022, and California State University grad Fullerton celebrated the milestone with an Instagram tribute.
“You are all becoming some of the kindest, humblest, most grateful and loving human beings I have ever known,” Suleman captioned a family photo at the time. “Each of you has rare and unique characteristics and is unlike any other child your age, especially in our society today. You are selfless, selfless, non-materialistic and loving, fearful, a follower of God. … I don’t know what I could have done to deserve to be blessed so abundantly. I love you.”
The former psychiatric technician told The New York Times in December 2018 that she lives with her offspring in a three-bedroom townhouse in California. Her younger children take turns sleeping on the couch, Suleman revealed at the time.
THE octomom home alone The star told the outlet that her kids know ‘everything’ about her previous stint in rehab and her sex tape, explaining, ‘They know, they went through it with me. It’s a huge weight lifted from all of them when I became who I was again. We were struggling financially, but it was such a blessing to be able to be free of that. They were chains.
In August the following year, she opened up about the ‘total care’ her ‘severely autistic’ son, Aidan, needs.
Suleman called him his “teenage child” via Instagram at the time, writing, “He needs full assistance with all needs in activities of daily living. Aidan is non-verbal, needs to to feed, to change (he is not potty trained), to bathe and to be individually watched, as he has no awareness of safety and would walk aimlessly in traffic. I’ve always been her ONLY caregiver. This “job” is my life (plus taking care of 13 other kids on my own). My kids are my LIFE.
THE 666 Devil’s Child The star went on to explain that she wanted to show her followers her “real life” and prove to “condemning critics” how seriously she takes motherhood.
