Beyoncé’s Beyhive is deep. As celebrities like Selena Gomez show up to her in droves Renaissance World Tourothers like musician Doechii pledged allegiance within the confines of a recording studio: the TDE signee unleashed a buzz-worthy freestyle to Beyoncé’s song “America Has A Problem.”
Doechii originally teased the track on TikTok in March, leading fans to believe she would appear on the song’s official remix. However, the spot went to his former label mate Kendrick Lamar. Anyway, after weeks of waiting for the full version of the track, she surprised fans by uploading it to her official YouTube channel. The track contained witty bars and flairs of his hard-to-hide confidence. But one section in particular caught the listeners’ attention.
Fans are speculating the latest action is a direct shot at Lola Brooke. In it, Doechii raps, “How do you turn 100 fans into 100 bands? / How to turn a 100 groups into 100 M’s. The latter refers to the Brooklyn native’s signature song “Don’t Play Wit It” featuring Billy B.
The stanza continues, “How are you from the North and pretend you’re a croc bitch”, as one of Lola Brooke’s nicknames is “Big Gator”. Doechii closed the verse by rapping, “How you bite on the one and only swamp bitch? / I see a lot of bitches, I don’t see a lot of stars / I hear a lot of rappers, I don’t hear a lot of bars / I see a lot of plastic, I don’t see a lot of barbz / I see a lot of numbers , I don’t care about the load.
