In honour of 100 years of the Walt Disney CompanyDisney has announced that it will re-release several classic films in theaters across the country – from the classic 1994 animated film, “The Lion King” to Pixar films such as “Toy Story” (1995) to action movies like “Pirates of the Caribbean” with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom.
These films will be shown in certain cinemas.
Which Disney movies will be re-released?

Disney has announced that eight different films will be released in select theaters across the country.
“Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” (2003) will be released from July 7 to July 20. Starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly, Disney describes the film as follows: “The idyllic pirate life of mischievous yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa, steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the governor’s beautiful daughter, Elizabeth.In a valiant attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl, Elizabeth’s childhood friend, Will Turner, joins forces What Will doesn’t know is that a cursed treasure has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undead.
From From July 21 to August 3fans can watch the Disney-Pixar classic “Toy Story” in some theaters. Pixar describes the film as follows: “Led by Woody, Andy’s toys live happily in his bedroom until Andy’s birthday party brings Buzz Lightyear onto the scene. Afraid of losing his place in Andy’s heart, Woody plots against Buzz. But when circumstances separate Buzz and Woody from their owner, the duo eventually learn to put aside their differences. The film stars Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear.
“Frozen” starring Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff, will be re-released theatrically from From August 4 to August 17. Disney describes this film as follows: “Anna, the fearless optimist (voice of Kristen Bell), embarks on an epic journey – teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his faithful reindeer Sven – to find his sister Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), whose freezing powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a snowman Hilarious snow named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
The next step will be “The beauty and the Beast” (1991), which will play in some theaters From August 18 to August 31. Disney describes this classic animated film as follows: “Be our guest and join the beloved and independent Beauty and the Beast with the soul of a prince as they cast an enchanting spell like never before. The modern classic beloved by Disney, the first animated feature film in Oscar history nominated for Best Picture (1991) The music you’ll never forget, the characters that will fill your heart, and the magical adventure of finding inner beauty come to life in a spectacular way.
The programming then consists of two Pixar films that will be released back to back. “The Incredibles” will play in theaters from From September 1 to September 14 followed by “Coconut”which will be in theaters from From September 15 to September 28.
“The Lion King” will be in theaters from From September 29 to October 12with “Vana” being the last film to return to theaters since From October 13 to October 26.
