Cuba Gooding Jr. seems to have a knack for getting in trouble at social gatherings! After narrowly escaping sexual misconduct allegations, the Hollywood veteran’s summer begins with an alleged fight.
The award-winning actor rose to fame for his phenomenal performances in iconic movies like the ’90s classic, “Boyz n the Hood.” Although he is celebrated as a sensational artist, his reputation differs outside of the industry.
The New Yorker’s image is a controversial subject, with various accusations of inappropriate behavior leveled against him. While the 55-year-old’s relationship with women remains questionable, the father-of-three could just be asking for trouble.
Cuba Gooding Jr. reportedly kicked out of popular music group by ‘power-hungry’ guard

After his recent trials and tribulations, the Oscar winner headed to the East End to freshen up with his beautiful girlfriend, Claudine De Niro. However, a source told PageSix, The ‘Men of Honor’ star’s plans to relax were abruptly cut short by a security guard.
The TV personality is no stranger to visiting the Hamptons’ famous joints. He frequented places like Surf Lodge, Duryea’s Lobster Deck, and Baron’s Cove, among others, but for his date the entertainer chose Stephen Talkhouse, a popular concert venue.
Gooding and De Niro had gone to the hotspot located in Amagansett for a reggae night. However, their jam session did not start as planned. The group had been delayed and they were getting settled when one of the security guards spotted the “Radio” actor.
“He was sitting on the edge of the stage waiting for the reggae band to start,” the source explained, noting that the bouncer walked over to The New Yorker and ordered him to stand. Understandably, the 55-year-old didn’t appreciate the man’s discourteous tone but tried to settle the matter peacefully.
According to the insider, “Cuba was like, ‘Take it easy.’ Security then got power-hungry and yelled in his face. The informant clarified that he did not see the next scene; however, they heard that the matter ended when the “[security] picked it up to move it, then [Cuba] left with Claudine.
The truth behind the alleged altercation remains unclear as the owner of Stephen Talkhouse claimed the “incident was not as reported” when questioned. Despite claims by the owner of the musical joint, they declined to share any additional information about the issue.
As mentioned above, Gooding’s exit came weeks after the father of three made headlines for his poor relationship with women. ‘Jerry Maguire’ star narrowly escaped rape trial after reaching an amicable settlement with the plaintiff.

Gooding and the alleged victim resolved their issues minutes before the sexual assault case was due in federal court in New York. The rape allegations first emerged in 2020, when the unnamed woman sued the SAG Award winner.
According to the lawsuit, the TV personality allegedly raped her in a New York hotel more than a decade ago. She claimed the “Boat Trip” actor coerced her into his accommodation after they met informally in Manhattan.
Gooding used the excuse of changing clothes to sneak the unidentified lady into his bedroom, where the deed took place. However, The New Yorker denied those accusations, saying the meeting was consensual.
Emmy nominee avoided jail time with plea deal in sexual misconduct case
The ‘Daddy Day Camp’ star’s troubles in social venues began years earlier with multiple accusations of inappropriate behavior, but time and time again he escaped before legal issues arose.
In October, the 55-year-old managed to escape prison after reaching a plea deal in a sexual harassment case. Gooding was charged with forcible touching after a woman sued him for kissing her without her consent at a New York club in September 2018.
The victim sued a year later, ultimately winning his day in court after a grand jury indicted the artist. The indictment came after the father-of-three was arrested on the basis of another woman’s allegations. According to the lady, the ‘End Game’ actor fondled his chest without consent on a rooftop hotspot in New York City.

Initially, the television personality refused to admit these accusations and tried to have the indictment dismissed by the court. However, he entered into a plea deal to avoid jail time and admitted to kissing the first victim without her consent.
Additionally, he pleaded guilty to subjecting two other women to non-consensual physical contact in October 2018 and June 2019. Under the legal agreement, Gooding would continue to receive the “alcohol and behavior modification treatment” he started in 2019 for an additional six months and was not to be discontinued on schedule.
If the New Yorker broke the rules, he would serve up to a year behind bars.
