Filming for the popular VH1 reality show has officially begun in Orlando! According to a report by The Jasmine brandthe change of series has begun, and Orlando basketball wives will be the new favorite drama.
The series started in Miami, Florida in 2010 and ran for five seasons until its end in 2013. Then the series moved to Los Angeles with LA basketball wives in 2011. It ran for ten seasons and is still going strong.
Some Former L.A. Cast Members Reportedly Set To Return For The 11the season as Evelyn Lozada, who is known for being a bit of a troublemaker and has had her fair share of physical fights with the cast.
She didn’t leave on the best of terms, and now she’s making a comeback… who will she line up with is the question everyone online has been asking since the announcement.

Orlando’s casting hasn’t been confirmed, but one of the people allegedly attached to the spin-off is Mehgan James. Since his time Bad Girls Club, fans know James and many other Zeus productions like “Baddies ATL” and “Notorious Queens”.
Additionally, she appeared on a disastrous season of LA basketball wives Fights broke out, enemies yelled at each other and James was in the middle of it, on his feet. One thing she has going for her is that she has a child by a ball game, thus qualifying her for the show.
fans of basketball wives are pretty clear that being married to a ballplayer is far from one of the requirements to be on the show.
Mehgan James is not married
Although James is unmarried, she has past relationships with basketball players which qualifies her for the reality show. An important one is with Kedrick Brown, the former Boston Celtics player. It lasted for a significant period and went public.
As for who else is joining the new cast, that’s pretty quiet. Some have speculated that basketball wives fan favorite Draya Michele may return to the show. The actress said a return to reality TV is uncertain.
The franchise has been struggling lately. Fans regularly took to social media after a weekly episode aired and blamed the cast for not acting their age and fighting over absurd things.
The final season ended on a low, but perhaps reviving it in a new city with what looks to be a younger cast will catch the attention of fans who left the show a long time ago.
