Bam Margera is spiraling
the old Donkey The star was taken into involuntary detention over the weekend after she was found acting inappropriately at a Trejo’s Taco restaurant in Los Angeles. TMZ first reported the public meltdown on Sunday night.
Margera was approached by police, who were called to the scene by onlookers concerned about her behavior and slurred speech. Suicide threats were made by Margera recently, so that was a big deal.
While coupled with this behavior, authorities were too concerned to leave him on the street to possibly disturb pedestrians and other people eating tacos at Danny Trejo’s restaurant. Police called a psychiatric team who deemed him unfit and in need of an assessment.
72 hours until the release of Bam Margera
Margera’s 5150 can last up to 72 hours if doctors have to hold it that long. The professional skater has remained silent since then, and it is unclear if he is still being detained or released and if he is back on the streets.
On Sunday, professional skater Jess Margera’s brother tweeted out a plea for help locating Bam. In the evening, Jess tweeted that her brother had been found but gave no details of what happened and her brother’s condition when he was located, especially after what he revealed about of Bam.
“They found him safe 🙏 he texted me and my parents at 6am this morning saying he loves us, he loves Phoenix and he’s at peace” and that he took enough pills to stop his heart,” he wrote. The tweet continues. “And some heartbreaking dark bullshit. Thank you to everyone who shared information today.
Bam Margera threatened to get high
Just last week, Margera went public that he has no problem getting high until he overdoses unless he can see the 5-year-old son he shares with his ex-wife, Nicole Boyd.
“I haven’t seen Phoenix in two fucking months,” he said. “I have to wake up every day knowing that I probably won’t be able to talk to him or see him.” He keeps on. “I’ll smoke crack with the bums on the f-king boardwalk until I’m dead unless you deliver me f-king Phoenix.” Get to work, Nikki or anyone who wants to help. At the time, Boyd’s attorney said she “sincerely hopes that Bam can first achieve and then maintain sobriety, for her sake and for the sake of their son.”
Bam Margera is legally separated
Boyd’s attorney revealed that being a drug addict had an impact on Margera, but he’s not surprised that was the result. “Unfortunately, that’s not how addictions work. People’s behavior does not encourage others to drink.
The couple appeared together on Bam’s Unholy Union, but once the show ended, the couple’s relationship was plagued by accusations of abuse. Domestic abuse, drug abuse and alcohol abuse.
Boyd filed for legal separation from Bam in February. The former skater has been to rehab several times and has run away each time so far. In March, she accused him of kicking her and was arrested. A few weeks later, he was arrested again for public drunkenness.
